Now a Freelance Lighting Cameraman with over 30

years of extremely thorough and extensive training

and experience as a BBC Staff cameraman.

Worked on a vast range of programmes but more

especially Documentary, Features, Drama, LE, and

Multi-Camera OB’s.


With the closure of ‘BBC Crewshop’ in 2002 I now

work as a Freelance in any area of TV, Independent, Corporate, Private, and Podcast Video with an extensive range of Camera, Lighting, Sound, and Grips equipment, that caters for most filming requirements.  

I can work Single Person if required, including shoot/edit, or team up with excellent ex BBC Sound Recordists.

I am also available for Training Assignments in UK or Worldwide.   Current CRB.


Available to work either locally (London, Essex, Kent, Suffolk, Norfolk, East Anglia), or anywhere in the UK or Worldwide.


With the trend towards Hi Definition Cinematography

I have completed a HD course (Sony HDW-750P) with DoP Paul Wheeler BSC.



I am also available to edit material that I have filmed, to provide an all-inclusive package if required.
